There are many good restaurants in Tombstone. But none equaled the three nights of BBQ in the Larian Motel courtyard. We brought in only the top chefs and grill masters from around the world... OK, so it was just Tom and Larry, but their skill at burger flipping and handling grease flare-out was bar none.

Good eats and good company. After a hard day's hiking... or shopping, depending on one's inclination, the food and drink was tasty and the talk was lively.

Meeting new friends and seeing old friends. That's the key ingredient to a successful FoT get-together.

Researchers, authors, truckers, realtors. Coming from Washington, or New York or California, or Indiana. As far away as Australia or living right in town. Members of the Earp Clan, and the McLaury's, and those of other noted names from Arizona history. Although different reasons bring us to Tombstone each year to talk, sometimes argue, it's the camaraderie that brings us together each year.

Of course, when one comes to Tombstone, one of the best things to do is to amble into the Crystal Palace, or Big Nose Kate's, or the new Dragoon Saloon and enjoy good converstaion and laughs. A fond farewell to my personal favorite watering hole from last year: Legends of the West Saloon.

John Travolta and Gene Kelly, make way for the King of the Dance Halls. The Jack Cowboys and Texans cleared the floor in shame when BJ came out with the Arizona Two-Step. The ladies waited in line to get their chance to kick their heels up with him.

After all the gals had their turn around the dance floor with BJ, they finally went back to their boring Texas-Two-Stepping Cowboys who just didn't have enough sand in them to match the Arizona Two-Step.

A special event graced this year's FoT with McLaury researcher, Paul Johnson joining McLaury cousins Frankie and Clay. At one point we were able to spend a poignant moment at the graves of Frank and Tom to pay our respects. Many thanks to PlumbLoco for helping us do so.

The town made a definite improvement by blocking off Allen Street. One step closer to bringing a more authentic air to the Streets of Tombstone.

Found one new place to enjoy good converstion. The Dragoon Saloon offers a stylish atmosphere. And of course, mornings are not complete without going to the OK Cafe first. Without a doubt, consistantly the friendliest place in Tombstone.
