Slaughter Ranch
Saddled up against the borders of New Mexico and Mexico, the old San Bernardino Ranch owned by cattle baron and Tombstone Sheriff John Slaughter became one of the biggest cattle operations in the 1880's. Now, an official National Historical Landmark, the Slaughter Ranch was the perfect setting for a picnic. There was no lack for good food or good conversation. And the group of top-hand grillers only scorched one side of the meat (kidding). Link to the Slaughter Ranch website |
